The Redeemer’s University (RUN) is a private University
established by the Redeemed Christian Church of God
(RCCG). We are running with a vision to produce the future

positions of Professors, Reader and Senior Lecturer in the

QUALIFICATIONS
In all cases, candidates are required to possess as
appropriate, skills and orientations, illustrative and group
teaching abilities with adequate research experience.

PROFESSOR (RUASS 7)
Applicants should possess a Ph.D degree from a reputable
University with specialization in the discipline applied for.
Evidence of academic leadership in forms of substantial
scholarly publications in reputable journals in relevant field
of study, project design and monitoring, administrative
experience etc. with at least 12years of post qualification.
Full-time relevant teaching and research experience
professional qualifications where applicable will be an
advantage.

READER (RUASS 6)
Same as for Professor, but with 10years of post-qualification,
full-time relevant teaching and research experience at
University level.

SENIOR LECTURER (RUASS 5)
Same as for Professor, but with at least 7 years of post-
qualification, full-time, relevant teaching and research
experience at University Level.

In addition to the conditions of service obtainable in similar
institutions of higher learning, the Redeemers University

16. Names and Address of 3 Referees. (one of whom must
be in candidate’s field of study) referees should be
requested to forward reports directly to the Registrar of the
University
17. Proposed Date of Availability For Duty If Selected.
